Small tapestries are usually advised for small rooms in order to make it look less cramped. A beautiful tapestry could surely add a breath of fresh air into any room however small. Certain rooms with odd dimensions pose to be a major decorating challenge. While choosing decor for these room, it is important to emotionally and visibly create a suitable theme for the room. An antique theme of European Tapestry would go well in such rooms certain spaces large, cold bare wall spaces could be filled up by tapestries of warm soft colors. Here it is important to match these colors with the wall color. Nowadays choosing a contrasting combination has evolved to be trendier than similar matching colors.
Tapestries not only add life to bare walls, certain bland furnishings also come to life with a suitable tapestry to complement its features. It is important to assume creativity while placing a tapestry in the room. For example a horizontal or tapering tapestry could add length to an otherwise cramped space.
